Why is the world in such a mess?

Why is the world in such a mess?
Because Christians are not getting the job done that Christ commanded us to do.
Christians have laid down on the job, or surrendered so much to the ways of the world that the world can't even tell us apart anymore, much less be influenced by us.
Christians live in fear of the world, thinking they have no right to stand up for Christ anymore.  When the Bible change? It didn't. When did God's power diminish? It hasn't? When did the promises of God get nullified? They didn't.  When were the commands of God retracted? They weren't.
The Bible clearly says in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  If the spirit of fear did not come from God, where did it come from?  Why have Christians turned into a bunch of weak-knee'd, frightened little people.  Why are we sitting idly by while our opportunity to preach Jesus to this lost, dying, sin-sick world passes away. 

Jesus could return tomorrow! Hello!? Can anyone hear me?  He could return tomorrow, and if He does, what will He find you doing? Will you be hiding in a dark corner somehwere worrying about how wicked the world has become, or will you be on a street corner somewhere trying to tell somebody about Jesus?  The gospel of Jesus Christ is the ONLY hope for this up-side down world of ours, and as long as we allow our lives to be dominated by worldly practices, and our minds controlled by the "political correctness" of a godless media, it won't get any better.
So, let's quit being cowards and start standing up for Christ.
