However, I do know from the Bible that worldly fame can't take anyone to heaven.
The only one who can save is Jesus Christ. By faith in Him you can be saved, guaranteeing you a place in heaven for all eternity, regardless of your popularity, talent, or wealth.
Did Robin Gibb ever place his faith for salvation in Jesus Christ and Him alone? Only he and God know that. The only thing that matters to him now is his relationship with Jesus Christ.
This is what the Bible says about how to be saved:
- John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

- Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
- Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved ...
- Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
- John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
God sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for Robin Gibb's sins. God offered him the free gift of eternal life, if only he would believe on Jesus Christ and call out to Him for salvation. God gave Robin Gibb 62 years to accept the free gift of eternal life.
Did he ever receive Jesus as his personal Saviour? If not, it is eternally too late for him.
But it is not yet too late for you.

God put Him on my heart about one month ago to pray for His salvation...I know there were a lot of prayers going up for him, so i guess we just have to believe that He did make His peace with God and that he is at home in heaven with Jesus.

I also have a burden on my heart to pray for celebrities that they make their peace with God, because i believe the enemy has the world under deception and having a lot of money sometimes creates false security that having wealth will buy you out of anything. Thats why we have to put our faith in Jesus everyday to give us our daily bread and not lean on our own understanding, it says in the word of God what worth is it if a man gains the whole world and loses his soul? Im very blessed brother that you started this page, if we read in Ezekiel where God was looking for someone to stand in the gap he said he found none, it is our duty as christians to pray for all mankind like what is said in timothy. I pray that we will remain faithful in the Lord Jesus and let us all stand in faith to pray for those who have not yet come to his glory.
Brother in Messiah, Thank you for giving Sweet closure to all of us! I'm sooo glad you posted this.. God also places celebrities on my heart (i.e.Michael Douglas--who was healed) when they face the crisis in life. Robin Gibb was different though.The burden was heavy on my heart... Unceasing prayer went up for Robin.I believe that God heard the believers' prayers for Robin's salvation.
Yes, it is especially hard for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God so we MUST continue to pray for celebrities--- and believe that God will somehow put them "through the eye of the needle" into the Kingdom of God. AMEN.
My Husband and I both had a burden for Robin about 1 month before he died..I just have to believe that he made his peace with God..God is not willing that any should perish ..rich and poor alike...God Bless.
