Joan Rivers - Heaven or Hell?

Anytime a famous person's death is published in the news, the first thought I have is, Did their eternal soul go to heaven or hell? Admittedly, I only know that I am saved and going to heaven and I cannot possibly know about anyone else.
However, I do know from the Bible that worldly fame can't take anyone to heaven.

The only one who can save is Jesus Christ. By faith in Him you can be saved, guaranteeing you a place in heaven for all eternity, regardless of your popularity, talent, or wealth.

Did Joan Rivers ever place her faith for salvation in Jesus Christ and Him alone? Only she and God know that. The only thing that matters to her now is her relationship with Jesus Christ.

This is what the Bible says about how to be saved:
  • John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
  • John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
  • Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
  • Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
  • Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
  • Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
  • Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved ...
  • Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
  • John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Being world-famous doesn't save anyone from Hell. Having a fortune in worldly wealth doesn't purchase a place in heaven.
God is not impressed with worldly fame, or great riches or professional talent.

God sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for Joan Rivers' sins. God offered her the free gift of eternal life, if only she would believe on Jesus Christ and call out to Him for salvation. God gave Joan Rivers 81 years to accept the free gift of eternal life.

Did she ever receive Jesus as his personal Saviour? If not, it is eternally too late for her.

But it is not yet too late for you. Only Jesus Saves!

Hopefully in her last lucid moments she received God's grace through the gift of faith to believe on Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) as her Lord, Saviour, Messiah and God. It would be an eternal shame if, as a Jewish woman she hadn't since the scripture says:
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
Romans 1:16

God the Father has gone to such astounding lengths to save us freely by grace through faith in His Son, Messiah Jesus. Well, Jesus is coming soon for all of us who are born again, in the twinkling of an eye.

With all due respect, it makes no difference whether she was Jewish or not. The path to heaven is the same for all and that is believing that Jesus came and lived a perfect sinless life and died on the cross to pay for our sin debt, was buried and rose three days later. Did Joan Rivers believe this? Personally I have no idea other than it would be hard to believe she did living the life she did. God is Just.

Some believe that Jews have a different covenant than Christians. God gave Jews the Abrahamic Covenant. They still live under the law and Christians live under grace and have been grated into the Abrahamic Covenant, per the New Testament. I have a Jewish friend who is orthodox and truly lives a righteous life. He believes that all Jews go to Heaven. I don't know about that for sure. Muslims say they have a covenant too in the Quran. They are Abraham's seed also. I am Christian but I don't have all of the answers.

Thou shall NOT judge is often quoted out there but the Bible does talk about righteous judgment. Joan Rivers, as funny as she was to many people, is now in Hell and is headed for the Lake of Fire in eternal torment. Why? BECAUSE she did NOT accept Jesus Christ as her savior and therefore died in her sins. If people make the argument that she was a Jew, even that is now being questioned because those who claim to be Jews have been scientifically proven NOT to be from the line of Jacob but are in fact Khazars from Russia. There is only ONE WAY and that WAY is Jesus Christ. Joan Rivers made her wealth through the highly satanic Hollyweird system and she is now reaping the rewards of that association. The truly sad thing is that for more than 40 years, this woman had à public platform and she could have reached millions for Jesus but instead, she made tasteless jokes and focused on the exterior. Her soul is most definitely NOT in peace. She had 81 years and wasted them!

Romans 10;9+10/
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I do that now/ I confess JESUS IS LORD, and I believe God raised JESUS from the dead.
