Great Trip...Great Blessing

My recent trip to Dubrovnik was a tremendous blessing. I never thought I would be able to see my eldest son here in the land that God brought me to.  He and his wife booked a cruise they knew would stop in Croatia.  We spent the whole day together in the old city of Dubrovnik and had a great time.
Isn't it just like God, to bring an unexpected blessing our way?
As planned, on the return trip, I was able to makes stops in Split, Šibenik, and Zadar to evangelize.  I stayed gone for six days, gave out hundreds of tracts, preached a few times to several groups in the streets, and stood for hours with gospel signs during rush hour traffic.  It was a rich blessing.

Photos are not in specific order, but I hope you enjoy them.

Big Trip Ahead!

It’s early Sunday morning and I will soon get ready for church.  Right after the morning service I will leave for a 10 hour drive to the city of Dubrovnik in the deep southern end of Croatia’s coast on the Adriatic.  My eldest son, Jeff, and his wife, Taylor, will be disembarking for one day from their cruise ship and I will be waiting at the dock Monday morning to greet them.  We will spend the day touring that beautiful ancient city together, which Croatians say is the most beautiful city on earth.  It is a unique and unexpected opportunity to see my son again.  I am thrilled that they have planned their vacation in such a way as to work in a visit with me.  Praise the Lord.
After Monday’s visit with Jeff and Taylor, I will begin working my way back up the through the coastal cities, witnessing as I go.  There are several large cities which have little to no Christian witness of any kind.  I hope to spend time witnessing in Dubrovnik, Split, Šibenik, and Zadar, as well as anywhere else I can find a crowd.
I’ll be spending the entire week working my way back home, finding rooms to stay in where I can.  I pray the Lord will bring some fruit from this effort. I look forward to contacting many people and sharing the gospel over and over.
We rest upon the promises of God.

Isa 55:10-11 - For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
